alliantgroup Strategic Advisory Board member Mike Johanns recently published an article for Progressive Farmer where he discussed the need to bolster the technological tools available to those in the agriculture industry in order to help the farmers of America thrive.

Johanns, the former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture under President George W. Bush, writes that although there has been a recent surge in technological advancements for the agriculture industry, the need for continued innovation is still there.

“There’s no telling where the relationship between tech and agriculture will take the U.S. in the coming decades but the seed for success has already been planted — we just need to we give that seed what it needs to grow,” said Johanns.
