alliantgroup Extends Deadline for STEM Scholarship Program

Due to the impact of Hurricane Harvey and the ongoing relief efforts, alliantgroup has extended the deadline for the firm’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Scholarship program to October 16th. The company will now announce the five winners of each $10,000 scholarship by October 31st.

“Given all that has happened to our city and state, we felt that this was the right decision, said alliantgroup CEO Dhaval Jadav. “Obviously, other priorities are taking precedent at the moment and people need time to get back on their feet . . . alliantgroup remains committed to the program and in encouraging our youth to pursue a STEM education.”

The program’s scholarships are available to recent high school students in the State of Texas that plan on pursuing a career in STEM related fields. Students must also maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0.

To apply, candidates need to create a short (30-120 second) video discussing how their passion for STEM has inspired their educational goals. For more information, read the full release here.
