alliantgroup to Host Webinar on Tax Credits for the Agriculture Industry

Former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Mike Johanns and alliantgroup’s Executive Vice President Sonny Grover will be hosting a webinar entitled, “New Legislation Rewards Ag Businesses”.

The presentation, which will be held on August 16th at 12:00 pm CT, will cover the day-to-day activities that may qualify farmers, ranchers, co-ops, dairy processors, equipment manufacturers and other agribusinesses for the Research and Development (R&D) Tax Credit.

Congress has recently expanded the credit and increased the number of businesses that can now qualify. During the presentation, Secretary Johanns, Grover and alliantgroup Associate Director Jeremy Troutman will discuss the new pro-business legislative and regulatory changes to the credit.

“The R&D Tax Credit is a powerful opportunity for economic development in rural areas. These agricultural enterprises are a vital part of the American economy, and we want to help them understand how their daily activities may allow them to benefit from government tax incentives,” says alliantgroup CEO Dhaval Jadav.
