The Rice Design Alliance Holds Their 2015 Annual Membership Meeting in alliantgroup’s Award Winning, LEED Platinum Building

On Wednesday, June 10, the Rice Design Alliance (RDA) held their annual membership meeting at alliantgroup’s award-winning, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum building in the Houston Galleria area. RDA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of architecture, urban design and the built environment in the Houston region. Their annual meeting is held to formally introduce RDA’s newly elected officers and to thank the association’s members for their financial and intellectual contributions to various design initiatives.

In addition to honoring donors and members, attendees were given tours of alliantgroup’s LEED Platinum building. The building is one of the only certified LEED Platinum buildings in the city of Houston, and was the main reason it was picked to host the RDA event. In a demonstration of the firm’s commitment to promoting sustainable energy practices, alliantgroup relocated its headquarters to the building in January 2014 and continues to work with a variety of design and construction organizations to promote the creation of more energy-efficient buildings.

“With the help of our partnerships with these amazing organizations, we have been able to help hundreds of architects, engineers and construction firms claim over $700 million in tax credits, incentives and deductions,” said alliantgroup CEO Dhaval Jadav during the event.
