In a piece addressing the Senate Finance Committee’s tax reform initiatives, the article focused on committee chairman, Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT), and current ranking committee member, Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR), and their efforts to solicit the public for ideas to overhaul the tax code.

Weighing in, Zerbe applauded the committee’s efforts to reach out to taxpayers whose views are normally overlooked in tax policy discussions taking place on Capitol Hill.
