alliantgroup Responds to Joint Statement on Tax Reform

alliantgroup applauds last week’s joint statement on tax reform issued by House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI), Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn, Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-UT), and House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady (R-TX). The joint statement reaffirmed their commitment to relieving the tax burden placed on American taxpayers and U.S. businesses.

In order to ensure sustained economic growth and prosperity for all, our company deems reforming the American tax code as an absolute necessity. We’re glad that our elected officials have taken the initial steps in making tax reform a reality and have provided a roadmap to ensure the process moves forward for the first time in decades.

alliantgroup’s clients have seen first-hand the importance of tax policy and its impact on American businesses. Our company understands how vital incentives such as the Research and Development (R&D) Tax Credit and the Section 179D tax deduction have been in encouraging business investment, innovation and job-creation. alliantgroup supports pro-business tax policy reforms, including provisions that would strengthen the R&D Tax Credit and extend the Section 179D deduction, due to the success of these programs.

“alliantgroup offers its full support for policies that will help our clients and American companies grow and remain competitive,” said alliantgroup CEO Dhaval Jadav. “I encourage our leaders to work in a bipartisan manner to find policy solutions that will create jobs and increase economic opportunities for all Americans.”
