alliantgroup and CEO Dhaval Jadav today announced a new STEM scholarship program that will provide five students with a $10,000 scholarship this fall to pursue a career in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) related fields – falling in line with broader company goals to support STEM-based industries. The scholarships are open to any high school senior or college student in Houston that is enrolled at a two-year to five-year institution for the 2017 academic year.
On the new program, company co-founder Jadav stated, “A large portion of our clients skew toward STEM related industries, and I cannot tell you how often I have heard these companies mention their struggles in finding the next generation of American-born STEM workers.”
Students interested in applying for the scholarship must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and submit a short video discussing how their passion for STEM has fueled their educational goals. Applications for the scholarship are due September 1st, 2017 and winners will be announced September 15th, 2017.
